This program, developed by Rotarian Henry M. Healey, P.E. of
Healey & Associates with the support of the Florida Energy
Office and the Rotary Clubs of Central Brevard County, Florida,
consists of a video presentation and supporting materials that focus
on solar energy, economic and environmental issues. The program
suggests solar applications that businesses can effectively utilize
to help preserve profits and prevent pollution. The intent of the
educational program is to make businesses aware of solar applications
in the Commercial and Industrial sector that can be initiated to
help preserve the environment.

Note: This program can be made available for viewing after November 4,

The U.S. Department of Energy, through NREL, has developed a publication
series for local government decision makers that describes innovative
ways cities and counties in the U.S. are saving taxpayer money by reducing
energy costs. The Tomorrow’s Energy Today fact sheets provide case
studies from communities throughout the country that are integrating energy
efficiency into land use planning, waste and water management, transportation
and buildings. The project also includes a traveling exhibit and a guidebook
that lists useful resources for local government decision makers who are
interested in energy efficiency.
