Solar Qualifications
The implementation of successful solar and advanced energy
systems has been the primary focus of Flaenergy since its founding
in 1986. The corporation has received international, regional, state,
and local awards and recognition for its work in the solar energy
field.
The corporation's president, Mr. Henry Healey, has been a leader
in the implementation of successful solar projects since the mid 70's.
He directed TVA's internal Solar Facilities Program and was responsible
for more than 70 renewable (solar, thermal, PV, and wind) energy projects
on TVA's facilities throughout the seven state region. He directed
TVA's photovoltaic program, was a member of the US DOE Solar Federal
Buildings Editorial Review Board, and served on the Federal Photovoltaic
Utilization Program Advisory Committee. His expertise has assisted
a wide variety of organizations including the UN, the Federal government
(TVA, US DOE, NREL, and DOD), and the state of Florida by providing
facility managers, architects engineers, and the general public with
the training necessary to evaluate, design, implement, operate, and
maintain successful renewable energy projects.
